This paper explores the concept of wellbeing in the workplace within the context of a university setting. It sought to identify and examine the major challenges faced by higher education employees, including high workload, burnout, and work-life imbalance, as well as strategies to enhance wellbeing in the university workplace, such as establishing supportive environments, promoting work-life balance, and implementing effective policies. This includes exploring the impact of technology on wellbeing, investigating the role of leadership in creating supportive environments, and understanding the influence of cultural factors on employee wellbeing. The article concludes that promoting wellbeing in the higher education workplace is a multidimensional endeavor that requires a holistic approach. By addressing the challenges faced by university employees and implementing strategies to enhance wellbeing, academic institutions can create an environment that fosters employee satisfaction, engagement, and overall success. Prioritizing employee wellbeing contributes to the long-term success and sustainability of institutions.
