Digest No. 15 - Autumn 2025
Resource – Campus Well-Being Resource Library
Campus WellBeing Resource Library aims to help campus leaders find actionable resources for advancing wellbeing and equity on college campuses.
Welcome to the Autumn 2025 and final issue of the Council of Independent Colleges’ Digest of Recent Research. The Digest is compiled by the editorial leadership team of Bethany L. Miller, associate provost and chief data officer at Macalester College (MN), and Philip T. Dunwoody, social sciences division head and professor of psychology at Juniata College (PA). Each recent issue has had a clear theme designed to support you in addressing contemporary campus challenges.
The focus of this issue is faculty and staff wellbeing. In thinking about a theme for the autumn issue, we wanted to bring to campus leaders timely, relevant, and useful information that would help them tackle the most pressing issues that campuses may face. Burnout has become an institutional risk that we can no longer ignore. The solution is a deliberate focus on workplace wellbeing.
In addition to summaries of articles and books, this issue includes resources such as podcasts and information portals, so that readers can walk away with practical solutions. We hope you find these resources helpful.
