This article discusses the recent changes to practices that treat campuses as sensitive areas that were previously off limits to Homeland Security Officials and how organizations are responding. The policy rolls back a Biden era policy that treated schools, churches, and other places that children and others gathered as sensitive areas for immigration enforcement actions. The recent executive order rescinds that guidance and opens protected spaces to the fullest extent of possible enforcement actions.
